Lucy Middleton is a printmaker working especially with hand printing techniques,
who exhibits with the Uist Arts Association at Taigh Chearsabhagh Arts Centre,
Lochmaddy, North Uist.
'My method involves using a relief process by cutting into card or wood and often incorporates paper masking to create areas of colour or tone. After moving to the Outer Hebrides from Cornwall in 2023, my latest works depict cosy cottages and stormy skies, alongside the rich wildlife that can be found on the islands.'
